El was born cursed and ostracized by his tribe. When his mother died during childbirth, his grandmother, Mah'ja, became his primary caregiver. She raised him harshly, but nothing compared to the ostracization and scorn he received from his tribe. His only friend is an older hunter by the name of En'yur, who took El under his wing.
El learned how to hunt, forage, and survive in the outlands surrounding the mountain, becoming an accomplished hunter for the tribe. This did nothing to soften his treatment by the tribe, especially at the hands of the Scarred, Aram'ra's trusted inner circle of guards and advisors.
Despite the hardships, El grew up an empathetic and resourceful young man. One day, he will prove his worth to the tribe and cleanse the sins of the past through his actions.
