Welcome

Tirus is an elder statesman of the planet Rashalon, a man whose age is evident in both his appearance and measured demeanor. The years have thinned the hair atop his head, and he dresses in the traditional ruling garb of Rashalon, carrying himself with a quiet authority that reflects both his position and decades of hard-earned wisdom.

Born and raised on Rashalon, Tirus came from humble beginnings. Among the planet’s prestigious Grand Houses, it was often said that he came from nothing, a sentiment Tirus has always despised. Though his family possessed neither wealth nor status, he credits his parents with giving him everything that truly mattered, sacrificing what little they had to ensure their son lived a happy and fulfilling life.

As he grew older, Tirus became known throughout Rashalon as a man of exceptional character, sound judgment, and civility. These qualities eventually compelled him to seek the office of Viceroy, an almost unthinkable ambition for a common-born man in a society long dominated by the Grand Houses.

During these years, Tirus married and became the father of a daughter, Evrii. Tragedy struck while Evrii was still young when Tirus’s wife succumbed to illness, leaving him to raise their daughter without her. Despite the powerful interests aligned against him, Tirus shocked Rashalon by defeating Jahgros  and winning the election for Viceroy. His victory was celebrated by many as the rise of a genuine man of the people; someone who understood the lives of ordinary Rasho's because he had lived among them.

As Viceroy, Tirus continued to challenge centuries of tradition. Most notably, he appointed Evrii to lead Rashalon’s security forces, making her the first woman in the planet’s history to command its troops. The decision was monumental and further established Tirus as a leader willing to break with convention when he believed change was necessary. Tirus has also become known throughout the wider political sphere for something far more dangerous: his willingness to openly disagree with Black Palace policy. While many officials choose silence in the face of the Black Palace’s authority, Tirus has never been afraid to voice his opposition, placing his principles, and at times Rashalon itself, at odds with one of the most powerful forces in The Old Universe.
