I now had my final objective, the fabled Isle of Energy. Deep in Cato's Cave, I couldn't get a proper signal to lay out my route. Using the beacons placed in the tunnels, I quickly followed the complex network to reach the cave entrance. The harsh winds of Catovaz were much more potent than when I first arrived. I could barely take a step without the icy air crashing over me! My signal to my route was much clearer now. To get to the Isle, I will travel southwest and cover almost half the continent's length. The task is daunting, but I was literally built for this, and it's time to move.
As I started on my path, my signal was feeding more information on the route. It can be broken out into three major tasks. First, I need to cross the vast icy plains. Next, after the plains, I should hit the southwest mountain range and cross over it. Finally, over the range, I should find a narrow body of water, and the Isle of Energy should be right across. Laid out like this, it doesn't seem so bad. I'm already making some distance on the plains, but the winds are getting stronger.

My pace was increasing under the low Mehdias sun. This was the longest part of my route, and I couldn't waste any time. Winds only grew stronger in the wide frozen plains, I was lifted and thrashed about a few times. The force of the winds was too much, I needed to adapt. My arms lay forward on the ground, and my torso shifted and elongated. This is my aerodynamic mode, made to move through harsh wind conditions. On all fours, I was pouncing against the plains, making my way faster as the Mehdias sun burned higher now. I noticed a sizeable settlement as I continued. I believe it was the city of West Var, a fascinating place, but not my objective. The mountain range was now in view, towering over me.
Mapping out the mountain range, I found the best path. I just had to travel through the low valleys, and I would be right at the shore. I needed some more luck like this, I wasn't a fan of mountain climbing! The mountains also blocked out the stronger wind currents, which made the route much more pleasant. Nearing the shore, I felt a presence. Like something was looming over me. Mount Ita'r Rus, the tallest peak on the planet, was towering over me, keeping a watchful eye. Its presence was so dominant that it felt like an apex predator watching over its territory. I was now nearing the shore, Ita'r Rus and its mountain brethren behind me. The Mehdias sun was lower now, illuminating the frigid shores ahead.

I feel like I’ve been droning on, Scoutmaster. I’ll skip ahead a bit. I crossed the coastal waters to reach the island. It was an easier passage, and some glaciers on the way helped me traverse. Finally, my objective was reached: the fabled Isle of Energy.
The land seemed smoother than anything else on the planet. It wasn’t frozen at all. I could still sense freezing temperatures, but nothing froze here. A faint glow illuminated the isle, I went towards it. I can already tell Spear Energy engulfed this place. The glow was now at its brightest, and a giant structure was before me. It looked like ice, but the structure was immaculate. Multiple colors illuminated from it and shifted all around. When I got closer, the colors became brighter and shifted harder; it could sense me. I took out my scanning tools carefully, I didn’t know what would happen if I made a sudden movement. Scoutmaster, the readings are unreal, like nothing I’ve ever seen! You should have received those reports by now. This was the apex of Spear Energy on Catovaz, it connected all around the planet and even had signals heading into space! What an incredible discovery! It baffles me how connected this universe can be.
The mission report is completed. I will brief you again, Scoutmaster, on my next mission.
