Transcript of the ninth recovered log. Found at Site 237-A, Sector G.
(Video turns on, full of static. Ruck's face appears in the screen, sweaty and hollow-eyed.)
"If anyone ever finds these logs, I want my death benefits to go to my niece. And if there’s a survey after this, mark me down as ‘unsatisfied with work environment."
(An echoing scream can be heard off-screen. Ruck turns, camera panning behind him where Bok can be seen toddling behind him.)
"Radruk'gren. I believe there is a high likelihood that the intrusive biological is aware of our presence."
"Yeah. I kinda got that feeling too."
(Camera view switches to Ruck's POV. The gun barrel can be seen pointing down the hallway as the light trails off into the darkness."
"Come on, come on, do something. Come at me. Let's get this over with one way or--"
(An unidentified organism streaks from the darkness. Due to the video quality the creature is difficult to identify, but its characteristics don't match the known species on Jargun-Ba. It is likely a cyanovore, whose mutations can vary drastically."
(Flashes of light arc across the video as Ruck opens fire. The sound is greatly distorted as the proximity of the microphone to the gun appears to have blown it out. The Hammer fires shots repeatedly as the cyanovore leaps toward Ruck.)
"Aaaaaaahhhhhh!"
(The cyanovore tumbles into Ruck, sending the camera view reeling to the ground. Ruck's leg is shown with a large, sickle-like protuberance piercing the flesh of his thigh. Presumably from the cyanovore.)

"Shit!"
"Well done, Radruk'gren. You have eliminated the intruding biological. Facility damage, however, will almost certainly be deducted from your pay."
"They can bill me."
(From beyond the camera, more screams can be heard coming from deeper in the facility.)
"Radruk'gren, I fear there may be more of the hostile biologicals within the walls. Also, a foreign object has perforated your femoral region. This is suboptimal."
"Yeah, thanks for the update. Can you help me up? We need to get to the control room."
(Bok hefts Ruck from the floor. Blood can be seen flowing freely from the wound."
"Of course, Radruk'gren. Why do we need to go to the control room?"
"Did you hear all of them out there? No way to kill them all."
"So, what are you suggesting?"
"I'll tell you when we get there."
(Static. End of recording.)
